Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

Reviews
This book is mislabelled. It is NOT, as the title suggests, "The Complete Works of William Hogarth: in a Series of One Hundred and Fifty Steel Engravings From the Original Pictures" by William Hogarth. Instead, it is a reproduction of a completely different book: "William Hogarth: Painter, Engraver and Philosopher. Essays on the Man, the Work and the Time" by George Augustus Sala. This completely different book contains less than two dozen engravings, certainly not the 150 the title leads the reader to expect. It may be an honest mistake by the publishers to substitute one book on Hogarth for a completely different one, but if so it is a grievous one.
